I have 8 years of experience in graphic design and art direction. I manage graphic & motion designers and video editors to create social media content and activations. I've designed social content, motion graphics, illustrations, and presentations.

Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite: Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, After Effects, Premiere Pro, and XD; Sketch, PowerPoint, Keynote, and Google Slides.

BIO

I’m a proud Texas Bama and self-taught designer. I started creating marketing materials like posters and announcements using PowerPoint, but I wanted to create higher quality content. So, I downloaded Creative Suite and started watching tutorials. My bachelor's degree is in marketing, but I've always been interested in the creative side of advertising, so I decided to put my passions together and provide not only strategy for my clients, but the visual executions as well.

I’m currently an Art Director at an agency in Los Angeles, focusing on entertainment clients. When I’m not working you can catch me planning my next trip, reading the latest Kate White book, coaching the Steelers from my couch, struggling to finish a Caroline Girvan workout, or streaming a new show. I'm also currently learning Figma.

PROFESSIONAL BACKGROUND

I moved to New York in 2017 as a part of the first class of Verizon AdFellows. It was an 8-month advertising program in which I rotated through different agencies in different departments, gaining insight into each part of the advertising process. I also participated in the 2021 Adweek Rising Mentor Program, which is an extension of the Adweek Executive Mentor Program. It connects rising marketers, who have 5-9 years of experience, with successful senior-level marketers to help empower the next generation of diverse marketing talent.

 

I participated in the Women in Animation Mentor Circles program in production management (2022). We learned about the full scope of animation production and finding our place in the industry. I worked with a group of other women under a mentor at Dreamworks. We created a short animation for our final project.
